Hi All,
I just got the official info today about some dance auditions for a major motion picture that are being held at the Heights Comm. Center tomorrow during the tail-end of our regular swing dance event. If you could spread the word via your list-serves or at least to those whom you think might be interested please do so. I had rumors of this happening all week but didn't know any details until today so sorry for the late notice...

The Movie is called: "Did You Hear About the Morgans" - STARRING: HUGH GRANT, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, SAM ELLOIT
CASTING CALL FOR DANCERS!!!!!
Plot of the Movie: An estranged high-powered New York couple who witness a murder and are placed in a witness-protection program in a small Wyoming town.
WE NEED GREAT DANCERS FOR A RODEO SCENE IN "DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE MORGANS"
If you can DANCE the Swing, the Polka, and Two Step we need you! 50+ dancers will be used for this movie.
MUST BE AN INTERMEDATE TO ADVANCED DANCER and able to take instruction well.
The signup and Dance Audition is being held TOMORROW night (Tuesday, May 5th), during the Tuesday Night Swing Dance at the Heights Community Center in Albuquerque
(823 Buena Vista SE - South of Coal, East of CNM)
Sign in during the evening while regular dancing is occurring any time from 7:15 PM to about 10:00 PM (You will be asked to make the usual $4 donation at the door for the regular dance event)
Auditioning will take place primarily from about 10:15 PM to 10:45 PM, though some may be done a little earlier, situations permitting - Be Prepared to dance and to be taped/filmed during this time. If you can, wear your best 'country goin' to a rodeo' dance clothing. Dance Partners are not necessary, you can be paired up with existing dancers at the venue.

According to the Casting person I spoke with - this film is MUCH better organized and PAYS real money compared to the swing movie Love N' Dancing that was shot in town a year ago.
